Overview
Ashe is arguably the most OG of OGs in League of Legends and is often a recommended champion for new players, but that doesn’t make her weak. Top players are extremely proficient with using her abilities to kite and keep enemies at bay, and her Enchanted Crystal Arrow is one of the strongest engage tools in the game in the hands of a proper sniper. Top 3 Things to Remember About Ashe
Players can sometimes get too caught up in chasing the perfect cross-map play with her Enchanted Crystal Arrow but it can be enough to just fire it at the person in front of you.
Hawkshot can be used on jungle camps early in the game to give your teammates information on where the enemy jungler is or isn’t at!
Because you lack innate mobility, it’s important to be quick on your feet and move at all times -- Ashe can kite well, but as soon as she’s locked down, it’s lights out for her!
Strengths
Ashe is a very potent laner thanks to her Volley, and once she hits level 6, she can snap engage on an enemy at any second. Combined with her naturally long range, she’s a champion that dictate the tempo of the lane very easily if opponents don’t threaten to fight back. Aside from her raw damage, she brings great utility thanks to her ultimate and Trueshot -- the impact of vision can be hard to quantify but it can give vital information that saves your team multiple times throughout the course of a game.
Weaknesses
Teams that have good gap closing abilities and lockdown can make life very difficult for Ashe. She is extremely vulnerable whenever her Flash is down, so she needs to always be aware of when an opponent can jump on her. You’ll almost always want to be near an ally who can help you out of a pinch, and they can also double as a partner when you choose to flip the switch for an aggressive Enchanted Crystal Arrow.
Game Plan
Early Game: Throw Volleys from the sides of minion waves to catch your opponents -- it only takes a couple to put them at an HP level that will make them second-guess jumping on you.
Mid Game: Use Enchanted Crystal Arrow to actively look for fights in the mid-game -- be sure to play around whichever of your allies is the strongest, as Ashe is still scaling at this point in the game.
Late Game: Once you have all of your items, your immense attack speed will give a ton of damage if left unchecked. Stand and deliver if they give you the space!
