Overview
Vertical Dynamo is one of the most flexible comps in the game right now. It typically centers around playing 4 Dynamo + 4 front liners when you rush to level 8, but you can easily flex the tempo and play for Fast 9 or reroll at 7 3-stars as well. It's a rewarding line to play from most openers in the game and is fairly straight forward to play. This is the default board to play for:
When to Play
You hit Morgana 2 and frontline early, ideally with Jhin or Elise to pair with her
You hit Dynamo augments early
You built AD items early but there are too many people contesting the Marksman Vanguard line
How to Play

You can stop at level 7 and slow roll there instead if you find a lot of copies of Elise and Braum early or if you have some Lesser Champion Duplicators.
You can skip level 8 altogether and push for level 9 (4 Dynamo + Poppy, Renekton, Gragas, Kobuko, and either Zac or Viego) -- this is a very high cap way to play, and you should aim for this variant whenever you're able to win streak early and have the HP and economy to sack Stage 4.
For the standard tempo, it's going to be easiest to play around hitting Braum2 and Elise2 on Level 8. Build their items first and then leftover items on Miss Fortune.
For frontline, you can run 4 Bruiser or 4 Vanguard as well -- your goal is to just play upgraded units. Zac should almost always be played immediately. You just want the frontline to stall so you Dynamos can keep casting and blasting from the backline.
4 Dynamo is very good but you don't need to stretch yourself to play it if you hit a stronger legendary unit -- just drop the Jhin! It does, however, become much more worth it to play 4 if you hit Aurora!
