Seraphine Build Guide

Seraphine

Seraphine

the Starry-Eyed Songstress

Overview

The songstress of Runeterra, Seraphine is an enchanter support champion that occasionally pops up even in pro play thanks to the strength of her kit. She has great range on her abilities and provides ample utility to support her team. She’s a great pick when your team needs a little bit of help with jumping onto enemy champions. Keys to Remember About Seraphine

  1. She has a lot of range on her abilities and can add more to it with her Stage Presence [P]. This makes her late game pick potential extremely high, as you can blast your Encore [R] from deep in fog of war to catch enemies off guard and still be there in time to support your teammates from behind.

  2. She's very squishy and will be an easy target for many champions to kill in the mid game. Be sure to play safe and always bring a buddy with you when you are trying to secure vision for your team.

Strengths

Between Beat Drop [E] and Encore [R], Seraphine has access to some of the easiest CC in the game to use, as she can use both from a long distance thanks to her Stage Presence [P] increasing the range of those abilities. In general, her range is her biggest asset and she’ll be able to poke and prod at enemies not just in lane phase but throughout the game, and come fights she also brings shielding and movement speed with her Surround Sound [W].

Weaknesses

She is extremely squishy, especially early in the game, which means that if you misstep or don’t properly keep enemies at range, then you’re an easy candidate to be killed. This is combined with lacking any sort of dash, which means enemies who lock you down or are able to get behind you are going to be trouble to deal with the entire game. Late game, keeping track of which ability is going to get echoed is going to be key, and it can be hard to track in the chaos of a fight.

Game Plan

  1. Early Game: Utilize your range to poke out enemy champions, but there’s no need to overextend to do it -- you should always be wary of the opponents’ engage range and do your best to stay out of it.

  2. Mid Game: Fed enemy champions are going to be looking for you to further snowball their advantages at this point in the game -- avoid wandering off alone and try to stay grouped with your team for fights. You can also find picks with Encore [R].

  3. Late Game: The strategy doesn’t change much from mid game, but like most enchanters, you scale well into the end game once you get items online. You can win a fight for your team with a good Encore [R].
