On April 15 2025, Riot Games revealed that the next League of Legends Season theme would be Spirit Blossom Beyond in Ionia, coming April 30th 2025.
As part of the announcement and on brand with the Ionian theming, Yunara was teased in the Season 2 2025 announcement cinematic. Yunara was confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) to surprisingly be an ADC. The community largely speculated she would be a support.
